Abdul Ganiyu Iddrisu, Ph.D.

Abdul Ganiyu Iddrisu holds a PhD degree in economics from the University of Aberdeen, UK. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics (2012) and an MPhil degree in economics (2016), all from University of Ghana. He is currently an associate fellow at the Center for Labour Market Research (CeLMR), University of Aberdeen Business School, and consulting for the Africa-Export-Import Bank. Abdul Ganiyu’s key research interests are in development economics, labour economics, political economy, and financial economics. He has worked on issues related to economic growth, human development, political cycles and corruption, digitalisation, and issues relating to household welfare.
